These Terms & Conditions are administered on behalf of Face Off Gym LLC / trading as Face Off Gym. References to ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ are references to the Face Off Gym LLC / trading as Face Off Gym, registered in the UAE, and whose registered office is at, Dubai, UAE. Face Off Gym LLC maintains the website (www.faceoffgym.com).

References to ‘you’, ‘your’ and ‘yours’, and after acceptance, the member, are references to the individual completing the membership application form.

You must be between 13 and 15 years of age and be under the direct supervision of a parent/guardian or a Face Off Gym Personal Trainer. Children of 16 years of age or above will have normal individual access permitted.

If you are under the age of 18, you will not be able to register on our website – your registration must be done in person at our reception.

PRINCIPLE TERMS

  • This agreement becomes effective upon your indication of acceptance of our Terms and Conditions in the declaration section of the web sign-up process and clicking the “JOIN NOW” button.
  • All new memberships are subject to the approval of the management. The management reserves the right to reject any application for Face Off Gym membership for any reason whatsoever, at their absolute discretion.
  • Your membership starts immediately, or when the Gym opens in the case of a pre-sale membership.
  • This agreement becomes binding on you, and you will be entitled to all the rights and privileges exercisable for the type of Membership chosen.
  • You cannot transfer this agreement to anyone else.
  • The Laws of the United Arab Emirates (“U.A.E”) govern the Terms & Conditions, without regards to conflict of laws principles. All disputes arising in connection therewith shall be heard only by a court of competent jurisdiction in U.A.E.
  • We will not engage in trade or provide any services to OFAC and sanctioned countries.
  • Face Off Gym makes no representation that this site is appropriate for use in other locations. If you use this site from other locations, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws. You may not use, export, or re-export any materials from this site in violation of any applicable laws or regulations, including, but not limited to, any U.A.E export laws and regulations.
  • Upon purchasing a Pre-Sale Membership (a membership for a non-open site), all existing Face Off Gym memberships will remain active until the initial minimum payments as per the contract term are paid in full. Only at this point can the member request cancellation as per the cancellation terms at their original club. Face Off Gym does not facilitate an automatic cancellation procedure in the event a customer purchases multiple memberships, and full liability to manage active memberships lies solely with the customer.

PHYSICAL HEALTH OF MEMBER

  • In accepting these Terms & Conditions, the member assures and represents that they are in good health and are not knowingly incapable of engaging in either active or passive exercise. Furthermore, the member guarantees that such exercise would not be detrimental to their health, safety, comfort, well-being, or physical condition.
  • The member agrees not to utilize any Face Off Gym facilities while suffering from any infections or contagious illness, disease, or other ailment such as open cuts, abrasions, open sores, or minor infection, where there is a risk that such use may be detrimental to the health, safety, comfort, or physical condition of other members.
  • Prior to using a Face Off Gym facility, the member or visitor must carefully read and confirm their agreement to our Member Health Declaration Form.
  • If a member is taking medication and is aware of a condition that may affect their ability to participate in exercise, a doctor’s letter would be required. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we handle such confidential information.

FEES AND CHARGES

  • Upon accepting these Terms & Conditions, the member warrants and represents that they are in good health and not knowingly incapable of engaging in either active or passive exercise. The member further warrants that such exercise would not be detrimental to their health, safety, comfort, well-being, or physical condition.
  • The member shall refrain from using any Face Off Gym facilities while suffering from any infections or contagious illness, disease, or other ailment that may pose a risk to the health, safety, comfort, or physical condition of other members.
  • Before utilizing any Face Off Gym facility, the member or visitor must read and confirm the agreement of our Member Health Declaration Form.
  • If a member is taking medication and is aware of a condition that may affect their ability to participate in exercise, a doctor’s letter would be required. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we handle such confidential information.
  • All published membership or other fees and charges are inclusive of any applicable taxes (e.g., VAT). The Face Off Gym TRN number is 100266546900003, applying to all charges under these Terms and Conditions. VAT invoices for monthly memberships or other fees are available for collection at the gym reception.
  • The “Monthly Recurring Payment” or “Recurring Payment” refers to the Face Off Gym monthly membership fee corresponding to the purchased membership option (e.g., Face Off Gym Plus, Core, or Flexible), determined by the membership type and term at the point of joining.
  • The monthly membership fee is due each month in full, upfront, and in advance. No partial refund will be made unless canceling under the cooling-off regulations detailed below.
  • A one-time “Joining Fee” is charged upon becoming a member, covering initial administration costs. During special offer periods, Face Off Gym management may, at its discretion, remove or reduce the Joining Fee.
  • The Joining Fee and first Monthly Recurring Payment are collected at the time of joining. Please see our Privacy Policy for information on the treatment of such information.
  • Your second Monthly Recurring Payment will be collected one month after joining, or one month after the gym opens for pre-opening memberships. Subsequent payments will be collected monthly thereafter.
  • If any Monthly Recurring Payment is returned unpaid, an administration fee of AED 200 will be charged. Further missed payments may result in suspension or termination of membership.
  • You are obligated to make the minimum number of Monthly Recurring Payments stated in your chosen membership. You must make every Recurring Payment except where cancellation terms below are met.
  • The date of your Monthly Recurring Payment is likely to be the same each month. While you can’t amend the payment date, we reserve the right to change it at our discretion.
  • Once the minimum Monthly Recurring Payments are completed, we will automatically continue collecting payments, extending your membership by one month for each payment.
  • To prevent automatic renewal, visit the Face Off Gym reception and submit a cancellation request with a minimum 30 days notice.
  • You agree to promptly inform us of any changes to the provided Member Details.
  • Retain copies of all transaction records, maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
  • Face Off Gym takes steps to ensure data privacy and security, but cannot guarantee online information security. Refer to our Privacy Policy for details.
  • Face Off Gym is not responsible for the privacy policies of linked websites. Contact third parties directly for information on their use of collected information.
  • Website Policies and Terms & Conditions may change. Customers are encouraged to visit these sections frequently for updates.
  • Price increases will be notified at least 1 month in advance. You retain the right to terminate your membership during this period.
  • Failure to pay for more than thirty days may result in debt collection or legal/police action, with incurred costs borne by you.
  • “Buddy referral” promotions may provide gifts or memberships for referrals. Gifts may be withheld if referees break the terms and conditions, including defaulting on membership payments.

PAYMENT METHOD

  • We accept payments in AED using Visa or Mastercard debit and credit cards for our memberships and other products and services. All online transactions are subject to the terms and conditions of respective merchant service providers. Prior to any transaction, kindly review the user agreement and privacy policy of the relevant merchant service provider.
  • If a member informs us in advance that their membership payment method is to be canceled without a suitable replacement before the contract completion, all outstanding charges will become due and will be charged immediately.
  • A payment confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided during registration within 24 hours of successfully processing your payment.
  • As the cardholder, you are required to retain a copy of transaction records and adhere to the policies and rules of the Merchant.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your membership account and payment details.
  • Upon replacement of a payment card with a new one, we will charge the new card exclusively. However, if an account remains unpaid for 30 days or more, we reserve the right to charge any previous payment card on the account or any linked account at our sole discretion to obtain funds.
  • For online memberships initiated outside the gym premises, you have a 14-day period to cancel your membership and receive a full refund. Once you visit us for the first time within these 14 days, you have 24 hours after your first visit to cancel this agreement for any reason. If you join during pre-sale (before your chosen club opens), you have 14 full days from the date your chosen club opens to cancel your membership and obtain a refund.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

  • If you joined as a member inside our Gym, you do not have a legal entitlement to a cooling-off period.

  • The Joining Fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • Following the initial 14-day period, the initial membership payment and each subsequent Monthly Recurring Payment made are not refundable under any circumstances. 

FREEZING

We may, at our discretion, allow you to freeze your membership for a maximum of 3 months in 1 calendar year. To do so, all payments on your account must be up to date.

An admin fee (Freeze Fee) of AED 50 will be charged each month you wish to freeze, replacing your regular membership payment. This fee is taken before your membership payment and is non-refundable.

During your Freeze period, you will not have access to our clubs. If you wish to regain access, your regular membership payment is required to reinstate your club access.

Membership Freeze Fees do not count towards a membership contractual term. Minimum contract periods consist of full membership payments only and exclude freeze periods.

You must inform Face off Gyms’ staff of your intention to freeze your account before your monthly payment and in the same month you wish to initiate the freeze.

Please note – A freeze period does not affect the minimum number of Monthly Recurring Payments you are due to make. Any payments remaining at the time of the freeze will remain due and recommence on a monthly basis once the freeze period is completed.

DATA PROTECTION AND SECURITY

We refer you to our Privacy Policy, which describes why and how we collect and process your personal data.

By clicking the JOIN NOW button, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

In addition to our Privacy Policy, we reserve the right to take photographs of our facilities (which may include you, provided your inclusion is incidental) for press and promotional purposes.

We will use appropriate communication methods to notify you of Gym information and assume that the information provided by you is correct and an acceptable method to provide you with this information.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

All members and visitors engaging in exercise must accept our “Member Health Declaration Form” at the point of registration and before commencing any exercise within Face Off Gym.

  • Members should use their own workout towel when using exercise stations, and towels can be purchased within the gym from vending machines.

  • Portable equipment should be returned to provided racks.

  • Members unsure about any equipment should consult a staff member.

  • Fitness instructors and Face Off Gym staff are authorized to stop anyone from exercising if, in their opinion, the member/guest is exercising in a manner that may result in personal injury and/or injury to others. Users must abide by the guidance of gym instructors.

  • All equipment and facilities are used at the member’s or guest’s own risk. Any equipment malfunction should be reported to a staff member immediately.

  • Plastic bottles with sports lids are recommended for drinks where allowed.

  • Eating is not allowed in non-designated areas for safety and hygiene.

  • Members or guests may not use facilities under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or other mood-altering substances.

  • Face Off Gym operates a strict no-smoking policy.

DRESS CODE

  • Proper gym attire is required for exercising. Short workout tops exposing the midriff, torn clothes, jeans, denim shorts, and beanie hats are not permitted.

  • Non-marking, rubber-soled sports shoes are required at all times in the faceoffgym and group exercise studios. “Crocs” and “flip-flops” are not considered suitable workout shoes.

  • Members should remain modestly dressed, including in changing areas. Nudity is strictly not permitted, and private changing cubicles are provided.

LOCKERS

  • Temporary lockers are provided, and personal belongings must be removed at the end of each visit.

  • Unclaimed property over AED50 will be kept for one week, after which the management reserves the right to dispose of items at their discretion.

BEHAVIOR

  • Members and guests must treat Face Off Gym facilities and each other with respect.

  • Threatening, intimidating, or abusive behavior towards staff or the company will result in immediate suspension of membership.

  • Access may be prevented for those acting inappropriately or behaving in an unacceptable manner, as determined by Face Off Gym Management.

  • Gym equipment should be wiped down after use, and anti-social or offensive behavior will result in eviction and membership cancellation.

  • Good personal hygiene is mandatory, and any member causing offense will be asked to remedy the problem or leave the gym.

  • Sharing membership cards is strictly prohibited, and members caught sharing cards will have their membership canceled.

  • Members accessing the gym through a complimentary membership are also subject to these terms and conditions. Gym management reserve the right to cancel a complimentary membership for non-compliance. Access may be refused to comply with government regulations.

  • GYM FACILITIES

    • The management accepts no responsibility for theft or damage to a member’s personal belongings kept in lockers or otherwise for any reason whatsoever.

    • Use of mobile phones with camera features and/or other types of visual records in changing rooms is strictly prohibited. Members are requested to ensure they do not offend any other person when using such equipment within our facility.

    • Members and guests are not allowed to bring their own food into Face Off Gym locations.

    • Normal hours of operation are as indicated from time to time at the gym entrance and notice board. The management reserves the right to adjust hours for cleaning, decorating, repairs, special private functions, and holidays.

    GENERAL TERMS

    • Upon becoming a Face Off Gym member, you will be issued with login information to the Face Off Gym App via email. Your QR code in the app provides access to Face Off Gym upon scanning at the entrance gates.

    • Your membership QR code must be presented at our entry gates for access.

    • Membership QR codes may only be used by the registered member. Fraudulent use of the membership QR code, including by a third party, could result in membership cancellation with no refund.

    • By visiting the site, you represent, warrant, and covenant that you are at least 18 years old. Individuals under 18 shall not register as members or transact on the website.

    • Face Off Gym may terminate this agreement with immediate effect on notice if you are in breach of gym rules or these Terms and Conditions. In this event, you will be liable to immediately pay all outstanding Monthly Recurring Payments, including a AED 200 penalty administration fee if on a recurring agreement.

    • Soliciting and selling private personal training sessions or merchandise to any member is prohibited and may result in immediate termination of the membership.

    • The Face Off Gym management reserves the right to use individual or group photographs or video of members and guests for press or promotional purposes.

    • All members must abide by the gym rules, which may be amended and/or added to from time to time at the management’s discretion.

    • Failure by the management to enforce any of their respective rights at any time for any period shall not be construed as a waiver of such rights.

    • Members and/or guests are not allowed to photograph or copy any interior designs, promotional materials, taglines, themes, or concepts. Legal action may be taken against members distributing, sharing, or supplying such contents.

    • Face Off Gym will not trade with or provide services to individuals and companies owned or controlled by or acting for or on behalf of OFAC targeted countries and individuals.

    • The website may produce search results linking to third-party sites. Face Off Gym has no control over these sites or their content and does not endorse or warrant the accuracy and legality of the content.

    • Free day passes are limited to UAE residents only and are available only on the very first visit. Emirates ID or similar resident ID must be shown prior to Face Off Gym free day pass access.
